For those that commute towards Little Rock. There are some changes to the Jacksonville area and the frontage roads starting tomorrow.

PULASKI COUNTY | March 13, 2023

The construction project to widen Highway 67 to six lanes between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville will begin in March with changes to the frontage roads.

John Harden Drive and TP White Drive Become One-lane, One-way Roads

Monday, March 20 through Saturday, March 25

Weather permitting, during the week of March 20 (Jacksonville North Pulaski School District Spring Break), construction crews will remake John Harden Drive and TP White Drive into one-lane, one-way roads between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard. TP White Drive will be changed to one-way for northbound traffic only. John Harden Drive will be changed to one-way for southbound traffic only. See exhibit map NR 23-057-A for additional details.

Construction will impact different sides of the roadway, and pavement markings plus signage will assist drivers. Access to frontage road businesses and side roads will remain open. Future notifications will be posted when specific side road access is altered.

The roads will only have one lane open during the majority of the project due to extensive frontage road construction. The final buildout once construction is complete will be two-lane, one-way frontage roads.

This project (Job CA0604) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 2.5 miles of Highway 67 to six lanes, between Main Street (Exit 9) and Vandenberg Boulevard (Exit 11) in Jacksonville. The project also includes improvements at the James Street interchange (Exit 10A), the Gregory Street Interchange (Exit 10B), the Vandenberg Boulevard interchange (Exit 11), and conversion of the Frontage roads from two-way to one-way.
