SCAM ALERT!! BE AWARE!!!!
Please be aware that scammers are cloning the Cabot Police Department’s phone number. They call victims from this cloned number and claim to be representatives of the Cabot Police Department. They may tell the victim they have an active warrant that requires the victim to make payment to them over the phone – usually in the form of gift cards.
No representative from Cabot Police Department will ever require or accept payment from anyone over the phone.
If you receive a call like this, hang up. If you wish to verify it was not Cabot Police Department, contact Cabot PD via the non-emergency number – 501-843-6526.
