Arkansas State University—Searcy issued the following announcement on April 21.
The first-place winning poem was titled "Inevitability" by Tara Forste. The second-place winner was Sharon Hawkins with her poem, "Old Home Place," and the third-place winner was Christy Parsons with her poem titled "Smile."
