Searcy Regional Chamber of Commerce recently issued the following announcement.

Consider your New Year's Eve plans made! Bring the whole family to downtown Searcy to ring in the new year. Laser shows, pyros, street dance party, glow-out wearables, blacklight bingo, DJ's, urban laser tag, big-screen football, food trucks, hot chocolate bar... and of course the ball drop!!! Don't miss the biggest party of the year!

URBAN LASER TAG

6:30-11:30pm - MARKET AVE.

Come play laser tag downtown. We will section off Market Ave., behind the Quattlebaum Music store, for 30-minute rounds of urban laser tag. Each round can hold 16 players at a time. Fun for all ages. BIG SCREEN FOOTBALL

You don't have to stay at home to watch the big game. We will have a huge blow-up screen, free popcorn, and food trucks for all the pigskin lovers. Just bring your lawn chair and come to the party! On Market Ave. in front of the Cookie Basket.

BLACKLIGHT BINGO & DANCE PARTY

Who doesn't love Bingo? Well add blacklights, a DJ, and a crowd wearing glow-out clothes and you have the best party in town. Bingo winners will win prizes. Bingo materials are provided in part by The Crossing at Riverside. A $10 FAST PASS gets you to the front of the line to get in. Searcy's ball drop is back! Nothing rings in the new year like a huge bedazzling count down and animated ball drop. Come feel the excitement and camaraderie as thousands cheer on the coming of 2022. The engineers at Clairday Electric will reveal their custom-fabricated ball with animated LED lights hovered over the main stage.
