St. John the Baptist Church – Cabot issued the following announcement on Dec. 5.
On Saturday, December 11, there will be a day of recollection, a silent retreat in preparation for Christmas. The day will begin with mass at 8 am, followed by a light breakfast, and will include spiritual conferences, recitation of the Rosary, a simple lunch, opportunities for confession, and conclude around 3:00 pm. Please sign up on the list in the vestibule or via the forthcoming signup via the parish email system. A donation of $5.00 is asked to cover the cost of meals; envelopes for this purpose are available and may be submitted to the Church Office.
