Arkansas State University-Beebe issued the following announcement on Aug. 19.
A-State eluded the heat and scattered showers to hold its 2021 summer commencement in Centennial Bank Stadium.
Light showers helped to lower temperatures as graduates, family, friends, faculty and staff met in the football stadium.
