City of Lonoke the following announcement on Oct. 1.

October 2021 is hereby proclaimed Code Compliance Month in Lonoke. This is an effort to highlight the significant work that has been, and is being, accomplished by our Community Development Department. As the proclamation reads, Code Enforcement Officers have a challenging and demanding role. Balancing the needs of individuals with that of the general welfare is no easy task and rarely do they receive the recognition they deserve for improving our community’s living conditions.
