CITY OF BALD KNOB: A Virtual Voluntary Certification Workshop on Oct. 13
0Comments

City of Bald Knob issued the following announcement Oct. 8.

The Arkansas Municipal League will offer a virtual Voluntary Certification Workshop for all municipal officials and municipal personnel entitled “Human Resources & Personnel Matters” on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. The registration link can be found on the ListServ!

Workshop attendees will receive 5 hours of core certification credit towards the necessary 21 hours of credit required to become a certified municipal official or certified municipal personnel. For those training participants who have completed the 21 hours of core curriculum, this workshop will NOT count towards your 6 hours of continuing education to maintain your certification status. The required 6 hours of continuing certification can be earned by attending the Winter Conference and Annual Convention. However, we strongly encourage individuals who have taken this workshop to do so again because so much has changed in the HR arena as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The fee for the virtual workshop will be $25.00. Any questions regarding registration please contact Tricia Zello at tzello@arml.org.
