Arkansas State University—Searcy issued the following announcement on June 3.

Newly elected leadership scholarship recipients have been invited to campus for a teambuilding and orientation session to kick off their engagement in campus life and the college’s Student Leadership Experience.

Leadership Scholars receive a scholarship for $1,000.00 a year ($500.00 per semester) that can be applied to any cost to attendance at ASU-Beebe (including tuition, fees, books, housing, meal plan, etc.) Each year, ASU-Beebe selects 24 students to serve as ambassadors for the college, be provided one-on-one leadership training, given opportunities to practice community & college service, and serve as NSO and SLE group leaders.
