Arkansas State University at Beebe issued the following announcement on April 30.

Congratulations to ASU-Beebe’s Regional Career Center on the Heber Springs and Searcy campuses and the Lonoke Business Academy on being named the January Strategic Plan Spotlight award recipients.

The award was based on Strategic Goal 3: ASUBeConnected, in making connections outside the classroom to prepare students to enter and compete in the workforce.

The nomination stated: “The RCC faculty and staff do a tremendous job promoting the college, as well as maintaining and strengthening connections with high schools within our service region. Over the past 18 months, the RCC has been an integral part of Lonoke High School’s expansion into its new Business Academy Building.”
